Each print starts as a black and white piece. After several days of drying time, I apply layers of transparent watercolor wash to the areas of white creating different effects as you can see in the 'Snowy Owl' prints below. I keep the colors true to the bird.
The 'E.V.' or edition varied' notation below the left corner of each print  is in place of print editioning which requires numbering and uniformity of a set of prints.
